Made substantial contributions to the planning, design, and evaluation of national poverty reduction programs (including PNPM, PKH, subsidy reforms, and non-cash assistance), the development of the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion, the National Social Security System, Government-to-Person (G2P) payment mechanisms, various disability-related regulations and development facilitation frameworks, as well as the development of integrated service and referral systems for comprehensive social protection. In addition, led the formulation of the National Action Plan for the SDGs, the revision of the SDGs 2030 Roadmap, and the preparation of Indonesia’s Voluntary National Review (VNR) to the United Nations. Currently involved in preparing the Economic Transformation agenda and the Long-Term Development Plan 2020–2045, along with priority programs related to energy transition, low-carbon development, Food Estate, bioeconomy, and geopark development, among others.

Wempi Saputra has served as an Executive Director of the World Bank Group (WBG), representing the Southeast Asia Voting Group (SEAVG), a diverse constituency of 11 countries: Brunei, Fiji, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Singapore, Thailand, Tonga, and Viet Nam. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping the WBG Evolution Roadmap, particularly in climate financing, pricing policy, partnerships, small-states strategy, and played an instrumental role in securing an USD 11 billion Framework for Financial Incentives, a USD 200 million Livable Planet Fund, and a USD 100 million Grant Facility for Project Preparation—critical resources that bolster the Bank’s support for member countries. His career reflects a rare combination of technical expertise, strategic vision, and diplomatic skill, shaping policies that impact millions across the region and beyond.

Arie has been the Deputy Director of Data Science and Governance of the Supreme Audit Institution of Indonesia (Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan/BPK) since February 2025. He is responsible for managing BPK's data collections, processing, analysis, and dissemination, as well as developing BPK's data governance and data science applications based on emerging technologies (i.e., Artificial Intelligence/AI), including the data domain of BPK's enterprise architecture. Before that position, he had more than 10 years of experience as one of BPK's full-stack developers and 4 years as the Head of General and IT for BPK's South Kalimantan Office, and as the Head of IT Performance Management. Between the posts, he graduated from the doctoral program of the Faculty of Technology Policy and Management at Delft University of Technology in 2021.

Dr. David Roi Hardoon is a globally recognised expert in artificial intelligence, data science, and responsible AI governance, holding a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Southampton. He previously served as the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s first Chief Data Officer and Special Advisor on AI, where he played a key role in shaping Singapore’s national AI strategy and the globally recognised FEAT Principles for responsible AI. Most recently, he served as Global Head of AI Enablement at Standard Chartered Bank, leading enterprise-wide AI strategy and responsible AI implementation across global operations. Dr. Hardoon is widely regarded as a thought leader in ethical and trustworthy AI, with extensive experience in deploying AI at scale within highly regulated industries.
